Up for auction is my used Bart Reiter Standard Model, open-back 5-string banjo. I bought it new in 12/01 from Buffalo Brothers in California. I traded in my resonator banjo for the open back and never looked back!

and neck contour I sent it back to Bart a couple of years ago, and he 'scooped' the neck for me, so I could comfortably play clawhammer style and get that real warm, plunky sound that I've always wanted to get.
I had the Short Shubb 5th String Capo added, also, by a local luthier here in Nashville.
It has one group of scratches on the back of the rim - see the picture. I think this happened at the UPS store, when they pulled the banjo out to pack it themselves fo
