Clareen Celt Irish Tenor Banjo
This banjo is no longer for sale (sold on 2008-09-06)
Price : GBP995.0
I took a deep breath and decided to sell my Clareen Celt !! Anyone who knows anything about Irish tenor banjos will tell you that Clareen ( Tom Cussen ) is one of the top banjo makers in Ireland as well as being an all round top guy. The reason then is cos i also have 17 fret Clareen ( lucky girl) which i tend to play more - this is 19 fret if you didn't notice - and this banjo don't deserve to be sat in it's case. I bought it last Christmas and you can see it has 16 months to run on it's guarantee from Tom. It's been played of course but is in mint condition. I'm including the Clareen hard case I bought with it, which was not included in Tom's price - I hope it finds a good home, and please email me if you need any further pics or info
Here's Tom's spec from his website :
The banjo is made completely from mahogany ie neck, resonator & rim with rosewood fingerboard & peghead. It is complete with two piece full flange & Inlaid with simple mop designs.
The tone ring of brass is set in an archtop principle, this in conjunction with the mahogany wood give a bright warm full tone. 1875 euro
This banjo is sold (sold on 2008-09-06)
