If everybody invested in banjos instead of stocks and bonds, there'd be no recession. I bought this fine Bart Reider for myself, for my birthday, last year, and have loved it, but now I need to pay for the convertible I bought for myself last week, so you get to own this classic, one of a kind, hand made...... made in America, by an American.... banjo.

2001 Reiter Custom A-Scale Regent 5 String Banjo
Banjo Serial # 1997 built in 2001.
This Reiter custom banjo has a maple 24 11/16'' A-Scale Vega Two-Star style neck with bound ebony fingerboard.
The 11'' pot is 2 5/8'' deep with a 5/8'' thick rim with contrasting wood rim cap,
and sports the Whyte Laydie style tone ring of Bart's regular Regent model banjos.
All hardware is in good bright condition with a light level of patina which could probably be polished out
without too much effort.
There is some fret wear (as evidenced in the photo) on the first through fifth frets but not sufficient to yet warrant a fret job. There is one small finish chip on the top left headstock wing, a couple pinhole chips and finish chips by both the 2nd and 4th string tuning pegs (as shown in the headstock photo).
