This 5-String conversion neck was made 2 years ago by Tim Selman, a very saught after banjo builder. Tim's necks are VERY nice and usually he has a pretty long waiting period on his creations. I was on his waiting list for over a year for this neck. This neck has excellent craftsmanship and was made to fit a single piece flange. I had this neck installed on my prewar Gibson style-11. This neck is made from mahogany with an ebony fingerboard and hearts and flowers inlays. It does come with the tuners pictured and the mother-of-perl truss rod cover. This neck has slight wear on the frets, but very little. When I first got this neck I got in too big of a hurry and installed a set of Sonny Osborne Ugly D-tuners on the peghead before the finish had set up rock hard, and it left a few minor blemishes in the finish on the peghead. They are hardly noticeable and you would have to be close and looking for blemishes to even notice them. In fact, if you knew how you could probably buff them out pretty easy.
I am selling this neck and many of my other banjo related items due to health issues that limit my playing now...
