This banjo has some damage on the resonator (top edge near heel and also bottom edge near bridge) and there is a crack line at the heel (see photos).  There is also wear on the finger board for the lowest two frets.  But the instrument is fundamentally sound in all playing aspects and it has that great Paramount ring. The crack line at the heel of the banjo makes it appear that it was cracked in that area at one time (it was that way when I obtained the banjo). This has no effect on the strength, playability, or sound of the banjo. The banjo comes with the heavy duty case shown. The case is in good shape but has some black duct tape applied at the edges to cover scuffs (see photo). There are also some stickers on the case cover as shown in the photo.
