Here is a Beautiful Old Vintage Kay Banjo. I do not know exactly how old it is, but it is Old, and maybe Rare too. I have looked everywhere and cannot seem to find any information on it. It is in beautiful condition with only one issue. On the outside of the body there is a scratch (SEE PHOTO). It looks like it rubbed against someones buckle, or was played sitting down and it rubbed against something. It is a easy repair. After some mild sanding a small dab of stain is applied with a rag until you achieve the desired color. Once you get the color right, you can then apply a small dab again of varnish and Its done. The scratch is a smaller one so fixing and covering it will be a snap. It measures about 35'' Inches long, and about 13-1/2 Inches wide. The neck is good, and all the pearl inlays and frets are also in fine condition. It has excellant sound. It comes in its original soft case. I did not clean or wipe it down or polish it as I have had other musicians ask me to leave it so that they could clean it the way they like it done. I am going to have this listed for 5 days with a no reserve. Everyone should have the same chance to own this old Fabulous kay. It has a unusual headstock which I also think is somewhat rare.
