This magnificent instrument is modeled after the famous ''Fairbank's Whyte Laydie'' from the turn of the century.


From the beautiful ''Tree of Life'' inlay on the neck, scalloped ''Whyte Laydie'' type tone ring which gives it that


special olde timey sound to the ''No-Knot'' type tailpiece this is as close as you'll get to a $12,000 openback


banjo. This was to be my prize claw-hammer banjo but I'm unable to keep her due to the financial crunch.


I am not a dealer but she has only been strummed a few practice rounds and comes with all paperwork
