This auction is for a 2004 Gold Tone OB-250-LE 5 string banjo.  This banjo is in good shape.  It looks gorgeous and sounds even better.  The banjo has had the 5th string fingerboard ''spiked.''  The instrument will ship inside a hard shell case.  This banjo is very ornate and has several decorative touches.  The neck and resonator are both maple.  There are some finish cracks behind the headstock and neck (I counted three).  I had this instrument inspected to make sure they were just cracks in the finish and not the wood.  Beyond the spikes this banjo is all original.
