Up for auction is this Gold Tone GT-500 6 string banjo/banjitar in show-room like condition. If you are looking at this posting then you should know how sweet this instrument is! It comes equiped with a passive internal pickup that truly captures the ''twang'' and the bass lows for great live perfomance. I bought this a few months ago for studio purposes only and have really only played a hand full of times. It only has one tiny millimeter size blemish on the very bottom (not the back) from a guitar stand, not noticeable at all. Other than that the thing is flawless. It also comes with the original Gold Tone padded case with straps in excellent condition. It will be carefully packed and shipped with insurance to ensure it arrives to its new owner in same condition as described. A few specs on the instrument are as follows: Maple body and neck with dark hand rubbed finish, cross inlays, rosewood fingerboard, truss rod, remo head, chrome hardware, antique-style tuners, passive internal pickup with 1/4'' input jack. These GT-500's retail for nearly $800! This really is an excellent playing banjitar! I am only selling it because it has served its purpose for a few tracks on my new album.
