This is an Alvarez banjo neck for a 5-string banjo.  New Old Stock.  Very simple mother of pearl inlay.  Measures 26 1/4 inches tip to tip (on the top side of the neck).  3 inches from the nut to the 2nd fret.  There is a small defect right above the 5th string hole.  It looks like the plastic side piece has melted a bit (not sure why or from what).  There is a picture of it (see last photo).    Also, the white strips along the sides do seem to have some ''wear'' along them.  There are streaks of brown (possibly they are thin).  Please email with any questions (please be very specific as I don't know what things are called on a banjo neck).  No breaks or cracks.  I don't know what kind of wood it's made of.  Please check shipping charges by looking to the right of the picture in the ad.  Insurance is required.  Shipping via UPS.  International buyers MUST pay with PAYPAL ONLY!!  NO RESERVE!!  Sorry, NO BUY IT NOW.  I DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS!!
