Hi! I'm back, and selling sommore of my treasurers. This one is a fantastic Deering Goodtime Special 5 string banjo. I can't find a single thing wrong with this banjo, it looks like new and plays and sounds like a Deering. This is the semi lightweight banjo, with a steel tone ring. There is a picture of the tone ring in the pics. The banjo weighs in at 7.5 lbs. Not light, but, by no means heavy either. It is comfortable to play and still has the tone ring sound. It has that great Deering neck that makes so much difference when you pick it up and play it. This is truely a great banjo for someone who can't hold that 12 lb banjo up anymore. It is also great for someone on a budget or just starting to play. If you are just starting out, you will play this banjo better than most in this price range. I will sell it for $500.00 or the bidding will start at $400.00. If you have been looking for one of these, you better take the Buy It Now, because it should go for that, and fast.
