You are bidding on a used Deering Goodtime Special 5-String Banjo. I'm really going to miss having this around, but lack of finding work means that someone else gets to enjoy this banjo!
I have had no issues with the banjo whatsoever. The Goodtime Special is perhaps the best value you can get in an affordable 5-string banjo. I have several friends with banjos from various companies and this Goodtime Special eclipses what I've seen around. Even without a resonator, this banjo has held up with a more clear and authentic tone than most. Just writing about it makes me sad to know it'll be gone soon...
Tuners are in great shape and hold their tune. There are a few color marks on the head, as you should be able to notice in the picture. The frets have no flat spots but could possibly use a polishing if you want it back up to totally like-new condition. I have never had any issues playing at all and the intonation is accurate.
