Welcome to the LaBosco Mall ! We offer great new and second hand merchandise that the Ebay community has come to know at great prices! Musical Instruments, Jewelry, Tools, Audio/Video, Collectibles and much much more as part of our LaBosco II Music and Pawn business in South Daytona Florida!
Offered at this auction is an Antique Banjolin made by NU-WAY. NU-WAY Was Part of the Albert Houdlet & Son Drum and Banjo Co. They were located in Brooklyn N.Y and brands that included Lynbrook/NU-ART and NU-WAY. The company started in 1865 and closed doors around 1930. Friedrich Gretsch was employed by them and learned the business from them as an apprentice. The banjolin is in nice condition given it's age. It has a leather or skin head of some sort. It's action is playable but high and could be lowered with a different bridge, we installed the bridge that is there as this was the lowest hight one we stocked. The frets are all very nice and beefy and the neck itself is straight. The wood is all in good shape with minor nicks and scratches from years of existing. The hardware is dull but all functions well . The tuners are original but we replaced a post and gear to make it function, but the post is a little higher than the rest. It comes with a worn but functioning case that would appear original. See The pics
I have for each auction set up the shipping calculator to calculate shipping by location which includes any handling charge. What you are quoted is what you pay, no more no less. It is however subject to the final value in regards to the insurance price. If you do not
