Deering Black Diamond 5 String Banjo

For sale is my used Deering Black Diamond banjo. This is a uniquely progressive looking banjo in both sound and looks. The Deering Black Diamond is an American made professional level, mohogany banjo with a 3 ply maple rim, bell bronze tone ring, and one piece cast zinc flange. The ebony fingerboard on this particular banjo is in fantastic shape and the mother-of-pearl diamond shaped inlays provide a beautiful contrast. The frets are also in wonderful shape showing negligible wear. I really like the action on the banjo as it is very easy to fret, yet high enough to play the louder, faster bluegrass tunes. I have found no buzzing or dead areas up and down the neck.
I am also including the case it came in. The case is in very good shape with a few scuffs, but no tears. This is the original high quality case with extra peghead support.
The banjo is in wonderful condition. I recently took it apart and cleaned all of the components. You can see from the pictures that it is in very good condition, a truly beautiful instrument.
In all of my auctions I try to be completely truthful. With that in mind I want to say that this is a used banjo and does have two cosmetic flaws that need to be noted. There is some minor pitting and minor greening on two small parts of the flange. This is cosmetic but I did want to point it out. The second flaw is on the finish of the resonator. It looks like the last 1/8 of the resonator did not receive a final coat of the color finish. I ha
