Harmony ''Reso-Tone'' 5 String Banjo
This is a Harmony ''Made in the USA'' five string Reso-Tone banjo with a steel reinforced neck that is in great shape. The banjo includes a hard case, 5 metal finger picks, and extra strings. The case has some marks and scrapes from normal wear and use, and the handle has been repaired. This case is designed for the banjo and provides the necessary protection and storage that is needed. I have not played the banjo much, and it has been stored in the case along with my other cased instruments.
The instrument has a great tone, the neck appears to be straight and the head/skin is tight. The head is intact and in good shape, there are no holes, cracks, or damage and does have the wear from normal use. I was advised not to clean the head, as this adds to the instrument's quality and appearance, and is normal after the banjo has been played. There are a couple scrapes/marks at the base of the neck near the body of the banjo. The chrome on the neck and base, along with the wood on neck and back are also in good shape.
The banjo has the normal wear and marks associated with an instrument that has been played, and I would not hesitate to purchase this banjo as I compare it to my guitars, if I was in the market for a stringed instrument of this nature.
