This is an early 1930's Bacon & Day Senorita Tenor Banjo with knee mute. The serial number is 33589, which puts it between 1930 - 1935. It is in overall excellent condition, the only blemish being some rub wear on the arm rest, as shown in the photos. The knee mute works perfectly, the neck is straight, the tuners work fine, and the body is blemish free. There is some minor fret wear on the upper frets, as shown in pictures, but still sounds and plays strong. The case is original with faux alligator pattern, though as you can see it has seen better days. The interior is in good condition, and all the hasps lock. This is a players banjo, and a rare one, happy bidding.
