Vega Vegavox tenor or plectrum Banjo Replacement Parts
This banjo is no longer for sale (sold on 2009-12-14)
Price : US $330.00

Have ever wondered why your Vegavox with rods (or a rod) in it never sounded great, or lacked that special ''Vox'' sound even when set-up by a pro? I have found that it was due to the Vega Company's use of inferior parts in their later years. The original large rod and the shoes were made of aluminum - a major mistake. Included here are solid brass shoes and rods to bring out that missing volume and ring. I owned three sets of these of which the other two were used on my own Voxes. This is my last complete set. These parts are extremely rare (I believe no one is making them anymore). Along with the 24 brass shoes and the gold plated rods is a finger type tailpiece and an engraved armrest (by Renee Karnes). I believe the pictures show the parts and the engraving clearly. Don't miss this opportunity because it won't come by again. I do have one set of just the shoes and bolts in nickel on Ebay, also.
