Gretsch nineteen fret 4-string tenor banjo.  SN: Made in USA 1083''.  Wood rim - no tone ring.  Neck straight.  Low action.  No fretboard wear.  Minimal fret wear.  10 7/8'' plastic head.  Friction tuners.  Resonator back has small white spot 1/16 X 1/16''.  Resonator binding is cracking and has chipped off 3/16'' X 2 1/4'' at tailpiece end where it may have been sitting in a banjo stand.  Tailpiece beginning to oxidize.  Plastic nut - 23'' scale.  Grooved hoop and 20 brackets in very nice condition.  Overall this banjo has not been played very much so is in good condition from that standpoint.  But, it is beginning to show its age here and there as it was made in the mid to later 1960's.  Comes with a chipboard case.  Please ask questions.  No returns.
