Price : US $103.50
You are bidding on a 5-string banjo. I was not familiar with the the logo at the peg head, but a nice fellow eBayer has emailed me and thinks that this banjo was made by Harmony for Sears & Roebuck, probably in the 1950s. Please take this information for what its worth. The reverse side does have a stamp that reads, “Model No. 319.12501900 Made in USA.” Let me preface this description by stating that I do not personally play the banjo so this instrument will be sold as is. I will describe it as best I can though.
There are 22 frets. Overall, the banjo measures approximately 37 ¾”. The diameter of the resonator is about 13”, while the diameter of the head is about 11”. Bridge is in place as well as the tailpiece, but you will need to replace a few of the strings as there are 2 missing and the remaining are probably old. I have no idea what kind of wood this is made of or any technical information. What you see is what you get. The banjo looks to be in pretty good shape overall and I don’t see any real damage or cracks, other than the skin on the head is discolored.
Please email me at email@example.com if you have any questions. Shipping to AK, HI, PR, or a PO box will be additional.
