Price : US $2,200.
Gibson Mastertone Banjo Earl Scruggs Standard, 1993 Model, Serial # 2456. It has Keith Tuners on the 2nd and 3rd strings, it is also had a Fults 1934 XYZ tailpiece and a Huber 5/8's bridge. The frets have no wear on them, the neck is straight with fairly low action, there are no railroad spikes or holes in the neck. The head has been replace, with approximatly 20 hours of playing time on it. The back of the resonator has some light scratches that will not show in a photograph, there are no other scratches on the banjo. The arm rest has normal wear from playing and age. The nickel plating is in very good condition. This banjo has been played very little and has spent most of its time in a closet. The orginal Presto Tailpiece and the Grover Bridge will be inclosed with the banjo. The cradle strap is included with the unit. It has a set of Martin Vega Medium Strings on it as of now. The orginal hard shell case is included with the banjo, it is like new with light tarnishing on the brass pieces. The Fultz tailpiece and the Huber bridge improved on the sound of the banjo, but that is my opinon, with the extra parts you can mix and match and see for yourself. Will ship only to the lower 48 states. The banjo will be insured when shipped, PayPal only, ask questions before bidding. Thanks for looking, good luck bidding.
